The ever changing world is shaped by technological and economic forces. It has not only led to development on one hand, but also created competition, rat race, changing values, trans-cultural transitions and cross cultural compulsions. There is apparent shift from coexistence to competition and to an individualistic approach.

Psychological pressures, and career uncertainties, place students in a confused situation.  These challenges get compounded by diversity in background of the students, their expectations and the realities of corporate world. Students often lack guidance, hence, with no clear cut directions and their confidence wavers.

A proper assessment comprises of a student being aware of his/her desires and aspirations, psychological bent, skills, life anchors. This is combined with the demands and availability of desired career.

We help design programs which create awareness and acceptance of their desire, expectations (parental, social and self). We also explore their psychological inclination, career anchor, job scenario and identify the gap between the expectations and reality.

A natural extension of these program is to dovetail the multifarious findings with managerial competencies required in corporate world.

We have developed a comprehensive process that starts with self-assessment of  personality, interests and abilities. This is followed by understanding various options and aligning them with dreams, career assets, passion and career goals. Finally, the process concludes with taking a well informed and planned career decision.

Last academic year we partnered with several colleges and helped students understand their aspirations.

The Process and Methodology

The students are assessed on three parameters – Aspirations, Ability and Interest, and Traits.

The assessment process is taken either online or as a paper and pencil test. The assessment sessions may last for upto 2 – 2½  hours or more.

As an outcome, we help the students to identify the consonance or dissonance of the opted career as well as the capabilities. It also acts as an aid to enable informed decisions by the parents and the student.
